Roles and Responsibilities
- Have responsibility and organisational authority for the development, implementation, and delivery of policies, strategic plans, and programs to deliver corporate Occupational Health services.
- Provide expert occupational health advice and leadership to support and inform the commissioning and delivery of services across the local authority sector, including schools and academies.
- Develop and utilise information and intelligence systems to underpin occupational health action across services and partner organisations; and lead collation and interpretation of relevant data.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of staff including specialist professionals from different disciplines.
- Be an authorised signatory and budget holder and contribute to the formulation of department/service budgets and financial initiatives.
- Commission audits/projects and translate findings into occupational health practice.
